Atumanni Dainkeh presents letters of credence

His Excellency, Atumanni Dainkeh, Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Kingdom of Morocco, presented his letters of credence to His Majesty, King Mohamed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco on Monday 17th January 2022 at his Royal Palace in Rabat.

This ceremony attracted over 39 Ambassadors who presented their letters of credence to His Majesty, King Mohamed VI. Indeed it was a memorable and colourful ceremony.

The Republic of Sierra Leone and the Kingdom of Morocco have enjoyed sound diplomatic relations over the years. The presentation of letters of credence by His Excellency Atumanni Dainkeh to His Majesty King Mohamed VI represents an eloquent confirmation of our common commitment and resolve not only to maintain this momentum but also to truly unlock the rich potential of our partnership in all areas of common interest.

The Government of Sierra Leone is eager to pursue the effective implementation of its partnership and roadmap cooperation agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco in all areas.

By closer political relations, we will strengthen cooperation on bilateral regions and on global issues. We will also commit ourselves to our shared pledge to support each other in our bids for non-permanent seats at the United Nations Security Council.

The Government of Sierra Leone is working with the Kingdom of Morocco to expand trade and investment by promoting a healthy trade and investment climate for both countries.
