Nonimmigrant Visas

The Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco wishes to inform the general public that the following procedures should be adhered to in applying for a visa to travel to the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Documents required for Visa application

Diplomatic Passport Holders
  • Note Verbale
  • Copy of valid Passport data page
  • I.D card
  • Two passport size photos
Non-Diplomatic/Ordinary Passport Holders
  • Two passport size photos (Recent and on white background)
  • Copy of valid Passport data page
  • I.D card or Resident Permit
  • Invitation Letter
  • Bank Statement (Recent 6 months)
  • Hotel Reservation
  • Health Insurance
  • Invitation letter (in the case of an invitation)
  • Cover note from workplace
  • Police Clearance

  • That processing of visas may take up to a week.
  • All documents MUST be translated to english

Visiting the Embassy

Security Procedures and Prohibited Items:

If you are preparing to visit the Embassy, please note that you are required to MUST:
  • Have a valid reason(s) for your visit
  • Have an appointment and confirmation before visiting the Embassy.
  • Follow and adhere to security and Receptionist instructions
  • Your reason(s) for visit and some personal information will be required from you from the Reception, do well to provide them.
Failure to adhere to the above:

  • Will lead to the delay in the process of your case.
  • Be rescheduled for a later date.
